Mohan C. Thomas

CEO, Choreographer, Dancer, Docent

studied dance at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. In New York and London he completed numerous courses in modern dance technique, choreography and yoga.

In 2003 Mohan C. Thomas founded the TANZMOTO DANCE COMPANY. Guest Performances at the Joyce SoHo Theater in New York in 2004 with his first multimedia dance production »Orientation«. Danced from 2002-2008 as a guest dancer with Sasha Waltz & Guests in the production »noBody«. In addition he managed national and international community projects under the name "Moving School" by TANZMOTO e.V.. Teachers Training in Palestine and for young yoga teachers in Tokyo and Berlin. For the UN climate summit COP projects "Go4BioDiv" in the Bavarian Forest and on Mount Fuji in Japan, he choreographed for young environmental activists in 2008 and 2012. Mohan C. Thomas also works as a choreographer for various theaters and opera houses. As already for example for the Dresden Semperoper or the Frankfurt theatre. His TANZMOTO STUDIO SPACE is located in Essen-Kettwig and has a wide range of dance and movement options for all age groups.
